Quote:It’s interesting to see how thorough the PBS NewsHour reporters were in trying to assess Tara Reade’s allegations against Joe Biden. They identified and “tried to contact nearly 200 former staffers.” They ultimately interviewed 74 people, including 62 women, who worked for Biden over the years. Some were mere interns, others system administrators, and some were senior aides. Their experience spanned from his first run for Senate in 1972 all the way to his time as vice-president. Twenty of them worked for Biden in the early 1990s, at the same time as Reade. No one corroborated her primary accusation or offered anything that could reasonably be described as supporting information.

Soo:
  • A 5 year(!) long investigation that was started under Trump's government came up with very little, certainly not Bide family scandals involving Burisma, Chinese tycoons, briberies or other serious stuff.
  • Under the agreement, Hunter Biden will plead guilty to two misdemeanor tax charges and avoid prosecution on a separate gun charge.
  • Hunter was late paying his taxes, that's all. Few people would be indicted on these. He had a gun for two weeks without revealing that he used drugs

  • And the Biden administration let the investigation (under a Trump-appointed attorney David C. Weiss

Quote:The crimes to which Mr. Biden is pleading guilty, said Douglas Berman, a law professor at Ohio State University and a sentencing expert, are ones that the average person is rarely prosecuted for because they are usually only brought along with more serious offenses. “If these are the only offenses, most prosecutors are going to say it’s not worth a federal case,” Mr. Berman said. “They would say: Let’s not make a federal case of it for the average person because it’s not worth it to bring a case unless there’s reason to be concerned that there’s a public safety issue or the trust that everyone is treated equally under the law is at stake.”

And lets not forget this:

Quote:He went into a downward spiral after his brother, Beau, died in 2015, becoming addicted to crack cocaine and engaging in tawdry, self-destructive behavior.

Quote:Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL), who spearheaded a successful effort this week to oust Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) as speaker of the House, compared the GOP-led impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden with U.S. “forever wars,” telling former White House chief strategist Steve Bannon, “I don’t believe that we are endeavoring upon a legitimate impeachment of” the president. Gaetz made the remark at an “invitation-only fundraiser held over Zoom last week,” NBC News reports, where he and fellow House Freedom Caucus member Rep, Matt Rosendale (R-MT) “heaped skepticism on the probe.”
