"At least the Trump hearse is appropriate given the 200K+ Americans who have died due to his incompetence," he added, referencing a vehicledriven by Mr Trump's supporters to antagonise the bus.

Quote:A Biden campaign event was cancelled in Texas on Friday after reportedly coming under threat from armed Trump supporters, days after the president’s eldest son called on his father’s supporters to “get out there, have some fun”. Don Jr posted a video earlier this week ahead of Democratic VP candidate, Kamala Harris, holding an event in Texas and urged his father’s supporters to show up. He said: “It’d be great if you guys would all get together, head down to McAllen and give Kamala Harris a nice Trump Train welcome." “Get out there, have some fun, enjoy it,” Mr Trump continued.

Quote:“This is a very big moment. This is a major fraud on our nation. We want the law to be used in a proper manner. So we’ll be going to the U.S. Supreme Court. We want all voting to stop. We don’t want them to find any ballots at four o’clock in the morning and add them to the list. It’s a very sad moment,” Trump continued. Trump contradicted himself at times, arguing votes should still be counted in Arizona, where he is trailing, but not in states where he is leading.

Quote:Trump confidant Roger Stone advocated for the execution of several former government officials if President Donald Trump is reelected, alleging that they attempted a “coup” against the president. The remark was made on the Bubba The Love Sponge Show, where Stone also claimed without evidence that Democrats are going to steal the election and then use “armed hooligans” to “burn and loot and rape and destroy until they get their way.”

Quote:It would all be so damn terrifying if we weren’t all, well, used to it. Let’s be clear about what’s happening: As his opponent Joe Biden edges closer to victory, Trump is launching tweet after tweet after tweet in an attempt to delegitimize the election. He’s filed lawsuits to stop the vote count in Pennsylvania and Michigan without evidence of wrongdoing. And he gave an early Wednesday address in which he prematurely claimed victory even though there were millions of votes to be counted in battleground states.
Seeing a leader aim to subvert the electoral process in an attempt to maintain power is the kind of behavior the US government would condemn if it were happening in any other nation. But it’s not. It’s happening here. While Trump’s behavior is troubling — and make no mistake, it’s deeply troubling — what’s most noteworthy is how almost everyone is ignoring it. States are continuing to count votes, as they are legally bound to do, despite the president’s wishes. Trump-friendly networks like Fox News are denouncing Trump’s proclamation of an election win as “extremely inflammatory.” Basically, everyone is carrying on with the election even as Trump openly wars against it.
Perhaps it’s not so surprising. Trump has spent the last five years claiming elections have been rigged against him, that the press is the enemy of the people, and that a “deep state” conspires against him. He has had no problem sending militarized law enforcement around the country to dole out punishment to those ideologically opposed to him.
That Trump would say and act in such a way isn’t a bug, it’s a feature. In that sense, one would think the US would be in crisis, inching toward a democratic finish line it may not reach, all because Trump keeps pushing it back or erasing it altogether. But it’s not. It’s moving forward with an election that, as of Wednesday evening, looks likely to have former Vice President Joe Biden legitimately replace Trump. The only people Trump has successfully rallied to his cause are those in his very immediate orbit, not the broader public and not even most of his allies..

Quote:Dozens of Donald Trump supporters converged on a vote-counting centre in the key battleground state of Arizona as election staff continued to plough through uncounted ballots with local sheriff’s deputies posted outside. The protesters, some of whom the local TV network ABC 15 Arizona reported were carrying weapons, briefly attempted to push inside the centre on Wednesday evening before being asked to leave. They appeared to be a mixture of Trump supporters and several far-right figures familiar at demonstrations in the state.
Arizona has been called by some media outlets for the Democratic challenger, Joe Biden, who holds a slim lead in the state. But the Trump campaign has tried to insist it has the votes to overtake Biden, who has a 69,000 lead, according to the most recent tally.
Trump supporters protest at Arizona vote counting centre | US news | The Guardian
- This is hilarious, Trump wants the counting in Arizona to continue as he actually benefits from additional counting, he is behind in Arizona (a number of networks already called it for Biden) while he wants to stop the counting in Pennsylvania and Georgia where he is ahead.

Quote:Top personalities at Fox News on Wednesday baselessly called into question the legitimacy of the presidential election, parroting the dangerous rhetoric from President Donald Trump aimed at portraying the contest as rigged. The network's prime time lineup of pro-Trump propagandists spent the evening suggesting the election was potentially rife with corruption and implying Democrats might be stealing the election. "Tonight every American should be angry, outraged and worried and concerned about what happened in the election and the lead up to the election," Sean Hannity declared on his program.

Quote:STEVE BANNON (HOST): Second term kicks off with firing Wray, firing Fauci.
Now I actually want to go a step farther but I realize the president is a kind-hearted man and a good man. I'd actually like to go back to the old times of Tudor England, I'd put the heads on pikes, right, I'd put them at the two corners of the White House as a warning to federal bureaucrats. You either get with the program or you're gone -- time to stop playing games. blow it all up, put Ric Grenell today as the interim head of the FBI, that'll light them up, right.
JACK MAXEY (CO-HOST): You know what Steve, just yesterday there was the anniversary of the hanging of two Tories in Philadelphia, these were Quaker businessmen who had cohabitated if you will with the British while they were occupying Philadelphia. These people were hung. This is what we used to do to traitors.
BANNON: That's how you won the revolution. No one wants to talk about it. The revolution wasn't some sort of garden party, right? It was a civil war. It was a civil war..

Quote:On November 4, former Trump national security official Michael Anton lied online about an alleged Democratic plot to steal the election in multiple states. Anton called for Trump supporters to “stop the steal” and outlined several potential steps, including “urge GOP officials in close states to expose shenanigans and, if necessary, to refuse to seat Biden electors in the event of a fake count.” There is no evidence of “a fake count” or any “shenanigans” that would affect results.
Also on November 4, Fox host Mark Levin tweeted in all caps that Republican state legislatures should “get ready to do your constitutional duty” and exert “final say” over all electors. The tweet was retweeted by President Donald Trump’s son Donald Trump Jr..

Quote:A poll worker penned a Wednesday op-ed in the South Florida Sun Sentinel detailing how volunteers were “threatened, harassed, taunted, harangued and even physically assaulted” by supporters of President Trump during early voting and on Election Day, describing the environment as a “war zone.”
Jeffrey Kasky, a lawyer who says he is not a member of any political party, wrote that he registered to be a poll worker because he was looking for “an active, nonpartisan way to contribute to our democracy.”
“But I didn’t sign up for this,” Kasky wrote in the Sun Sentinel, saying that Trump supporters treated the outside of his polling location in West Boca Raton “like a college football tailgate party.””
