Kick them out, those illegal immigrants. No mercy!

Then this is what you get..

Quote:Senator Bob Casey sent out a series of tweets over several hours on Wednesday, documenting in real time his efforts to persuade the Trump administration to halt the deportation of a mother and child who were already on a flight back to Honduras "to their possible death."

The Pennsylvania Democrat tweeted that the child, a five-year-old boy, was eligible for the Special Immigrant Juveniles program that aids foreign children in the US who were abused, abandoned, or neglected, and that paperwork had been filed for him. He said the Department of Homeland Security put the family on a plane regardless, and that only the White House could reverse the action.

Casey said the mother had witnessed her cousin's murder back in Honduras and was being pursued by gangs before she and her son fled and sought refuge in the US.

Quote:Before becoming one of the more than 41,000 undocumented immigrants swept up in the Trump administration's immigration crackdown over the past several months, Ramos supported his family by working three jobs—two in hotels and one at a restaurant—seven days a week. But he had some brushes with the law—a conviction for being under the influence of cocaine about 10 years ago and a reckless driving violation last year—making him low-hanging fruit for Immigration and Customs Enforcement, which has also been arresting and deporting scores of people without criminal records since Trump's inauguration. Now that Ramos is gone, his wife, who is four months pregnant, must manage child care, the sudden loss of income, and the many details of their daily lives alone.

Among the most important of those details: Kevin's health. Sitting at the kitchen table, you wouldn't know that he has cerebral palsy, or that he had surgery on his spine a couple of years ago. His mother left her jobas a janitor at a gym to oversee his care; he spent two months in the hospital and now goes to physical therapy three days a week. The next four years are vital to Kevin's progress, Heras says. If he doesn't gain enough strength in his legs during that time, he may never be able to leave his wheelchair. "The doctors say the surgery went really well," she says, perhaps to Kevin more than anyone else. Kevin nods. She addresses him more directly, "You had the luck of being born here.""

Quote:The full reality of President Trump’s bombastic promises on illegal immigration is finally taking shape, and the picture is, unsurprisingly, bleak. After several reports pointing toward an increasing trend of Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) targeting undocumented immigrants with no criminal background or low-level offenses—the exact people President Obama said the country shouldn’t prioritize deporting—we now have the statistics to paint a full picture: According to a new report from ICE, while border arrests have slowed, arrests of undocumented immigrants within the United States have in fact soared since Trump took office. The number of arrests of immigrants for civil violations increased by 30 percent, and the number of immigrants without criminal records arrested more than doubled. Overall removal numbers declined, however, by about 6 percent.

Quote:As if the separation of families at the border and the travel ban were not enough, the Trump administration has a denaturalization initiative that is stoking controversy. A few weeks ago, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) Director L. Francis Cissna told the Associated Press that his agency is hiring dozens of attorneys to form a task force to review the records of people who have become U.S. citizens since 1990, in order to identify people who deliberately lied on their citizenship applications. “We finally have a process in place to get to the bottom of all these bad cases and start denaturalizing people who should not have been naturalized in the first place,” Cissna told AP.

Denaturalization as a priority is unprecedented and has alarmed many advocates for immigrants. The historic heyday of de-naturalization was during McCarthyism, when the Internal Security Act of 1950 added provisions that stripped citizenship based upon political and anti-government beliefs. The stereotypical case was the Nazi war criminal. According to immigration officials, the Executive Office for United States Attorneys (USAO) generally have not accepted immigration benefit fraud cases for criminal prosecution.

Quote:During a Fox and Friends segment Friday, Rivera conceded that the border wall would not keep out transnational “dopers” or drug traffickers. But he said it would help keep out immigrant laborers who cross the border. “The wall, I think, will cut down on the ‘Juan and Maria,’ the fruit-picker, the you know, the babysitter, the lawnmower, the dishwasher — those immigrants will be, I think, kept out by the wall,” Rivera said during the segment, according to Media Matters for America. “Psychologically, we need the wall on the southern border because we are scared that the demographic makeup of the country is changing,” he continued. “There are so many people coming in. We need some enforcement.”

Quote:LAURA INGRAHAM (HOST): Nevertheless, she's kind of right in a general sense, because in some parts of the country, it does seem like the America that we know and love doesn't exist anymore. Massive demographic changes have been foisted upon the American people, and they are changes that none of us ever voted for, and most of us don't like. From Virginia to California, we see stark examples of how radically, in some ways, the country has changed. Now, much of this is related to both illegal, and in some cases legal immigration that, of course, progressives love.
